QXCR1000308394: :_SERVER-PCT_GEN returns servers that are not supposed to be restarted.
| PROBLEM: |
Notification messages sent to message browser each time a Tuxedo server (that is allowed to be restarted) restarts. This causes a large amount of notification messages on the message browser. |
| CAUSE: |
There was no condition to check whether the RESTART(TA_RESTART) value in the UBBConfig file was set to Y for a specific Tuxedo server. Y indicates that the specific Tuxedo server can be restarted. Therefore, the metric SERVER-PCT_GEN was calculated for all Tuxedo servers that were restarted. |
| FIX: |
This problem is addressed by providing a that checks if the RESTART(TA_RESTART) value in the UBBConfig file was set to Y for a specific Tuxedo server. This prevents notification messages on the message browser from Tuxedo servers that are allowed to be restarted. |
QXCR1000287010:_OVOW-Documentation: TMSYSEVT should be enabled as a
prerequisite
| PROBLEM: |
Documentation does not include the information about configuring and starting the TMSYSEVT server of the Tuxedo system as a prerequisite for receiving system event monitoring information from all the machines in the domain. |
| CAUSE: |
Defect identified post release. |
| FIX: |
This information is now updated in the Tuxedo SPI documentation. |
