|
9.20
|
Note:
·
Windows operating
systems on Itanium Processor Family (IPF) are not supported.
·
Windows 32-bit

·

·
The Windows SNMP Trap
service (or any other service that takes UDP Port 162) must be disabled. For
more information, see the HP Network Node Manager i Software Installation
Guide.
· Anti-virus and backup software can interfere with NNMi operation if this software locks files while NNMi is running. Any application that locks files should be configured to exclude the NNMi database directory (on Windows Server 2008, C:\ProgramData\HP\HP BTO Software\databases) · Windows Server 2008 introduced the concept of User Access Control (UAC). Users that are not part of the Local Administrator group might not have the full Administrator privileges that are required to successfully install NNMi. All of the scripts and commands shipped with NNMi detect and warn the user if the user does not have full Administrator privileges. For a successful NNMi installation, install NNMi as a user with full Local Administrator access or disable UAC. |
