The following error message is seen when attempting to upload script to Performance Cernter (PC) 11:

Error while uploading <Script> into 'Subject\Scripts' folder. Script upload failed. Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Cause

OTA Client component is not registered correctly.

Fix

Register ALM OTA dll manually using the steps mentioned below.

1. Open command prompt

2. Navigate the the location where OTAClient.dll present in the ALM Client cache directory.

3.  Run regsvr32 <Location of ALM client cache >\\OTAClient.dll
