‘History Changes' not shown for some CI Types in UCMDB

Summary

This article describes what to be perform in the event ‘History Changes' not shown for some CI Types in UCMDB.

Error

Tried to link testUnix CI to another problematic CI type (YKB Platform), can't see any changes in the CI History Changes on the modified CI.

Fix

1. go to JMX console, to invoke initializeHistoryDBFromModel() method.

2. then to check on the same CI instance's History changes.

 

After running the JMX initializeHistoryDBFromModel() method, the changes can be seen  in 'history changes'.
