The Features and Benefits of LoadRunner Professional 2021 R1 are as follow: 

LoadRunner Professional 2021 R1 delivers updates to enhance performance testing for co-located teams. As part of this release, customers can take advantage of VuGen and protocol enhancements, additional integrations and scripting enhancements.

VuGen and Protocol Enhancements for the LoadRunner Family

DevWeb:

• Enhanced code completion is available when editing DevWeb scripts in VuGen, in an effort to improve and reduce scripting time
• Improvements and additions to the support for gRPC including server stream

LoadRunner Developer

• New Token based authentication for LoadRunner Enterprise and LoadRunner Cloud 

Scripting and Integrations

Open Source Scripting Enhancements:

• Support for JMeter v5.4 scripts as well as the availability of pacing runtime settings 
• Added support for replaying Selenium scripts for more LG coverage and flexibility reduced Total Cost of Ownership

Integrations

• LoadRunner Professional now integrates with Silk Performer, allowing the out of the box execution of Silk Performer scripts in the context of LoadRunner Professional. This allows the customers the possibility to model scenarios and leverage all the LoadRunner Professional analytics capabilities

Other Protocol Enhancements 

• TruClient Browser support is upgrade to version 83 and Chromium browser support is upgraded to version 88
• Numerous protocol enhancements across Java, Web, Citrix, and Oracle. Some highlights include Citrix has improved script stability with an upgraded OCR engine and Oracle 2-tier support for Oracle 19c databases
