Summary
UCMDB application services were stopped on the server, when tried to start the UCMDB services get the windows generic error 1053
Error
UCMDB application service failed to start and fails with windows general error code 1053.
Cause
Found that “JRE” folder in the UCMDB server where missing few files which prevented the UCMDB server service to start and resulted in the error.
copied the JRE folder from our working primary UCMDB server to the secondary UCMDB server and started the services , and it was able to start.
Fix
“\UCMDB\UCMDBServer\bin\jre” folder in the UCMDB server which is used by UCMDB application where missing with few files which prevented the UCMDB server service to start and resulted in the error.
Copied the JRE folder from working primary UCMDB server to the secondary UCMDB server and started the services .
After the above step UCMDB service was able to start.
