The following new key features are available with this version:
ALM Octane 15.1.60 continues to drive improvements to support organizations’ Agile and DevOps transformations through enhanced capabilities in release and quality management, expanded agile support and improvements in the enterprise platform.
Release Management
- Manage the releases from planning to execution with details on process, steps and actions
- Establish Quality Gates within the release process
- My Work allows users to own and complete an action on failed quality gates
Quality Management
- ALM/QC Test Injection allows tests with “No Run” status, association of ALM Test Set attributes with ALM Octane Test Suite and Suite Run, and association of ALM Test Set cycles with Octane Milestones
- Test Suites now have an audit history
- BDD support includes JBehave in addition to Cucumber
- SAP Accelerator Pack is now available in the Marketplace
Agile Support
- Addition of Cross Release Milestones and a Milestone field for Epics
- Backlog Grids now show related entities
- Ability to trigger a suite run via the API
- Link to UFT tests on Git
- Jira Plugin now has Cloud Support and test coverage per defect
Enterprise Platform
- Shared Space includes export/import customization
- Export Import-Backlog to Excel
- Document Report can add free text and include the run steps
