While navigating to CMC console, there will be messages as below showing and Version Management function cannot be used.

Sorry, Promotion management application is unable to process your request.
The error from the server is: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: java.io.IOException: Cannot run /opt/HP/BSM/BOE4/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/subversion/bin/svn - execve failed (ENOENT - No such file or directory)

 

Cause

This is because the sub version component is not installed by default with OBR installation.

The Verstion Management is not available due to subversion missing.

Briefly, the Version Management is used for managing the versions of report development.

Please go ahead to ingore this message and use the other functions on CMC.
