Sometimes in designer you use an Index cartridge, however if data you are archiving has null values, you will get a fail.
Question
When you are using Designer in SDM and wants to handle index using indexing cartridge, you would fail in errors if your data about indexes in key has null values.
So here the idea is you to have a way to get over it.
Answer
The workaround to avoid null pointer exception for indexing cartridge is to prefix empty string value in the Document Content & Document Title tabs.
By adding empty prefix value the null value becomes an empty string instead of null & the non-null values will work as it is.
