LDAP error - Account information not recognized
Account Information Not Recognized: Invalid username or password. If your account is under any root other than dc=XXX, dc=XX, dc=XX, you must enter your DN. (FWB 00007) , you must enter your DN. (FWB 00007)
Cause
This can happen if the The "User Name" attribute mappings is configured to the "Full Name" attribute instead of the "User ID" attribute in your LDAP server.
Fix
1) Launch the CMC (One Click Page --> Administration --> Report Manager --> Business Objects Administration (CMC))
2) Go to the Authentication Section
3) Click on the value for LDAP Server Type
4) On the right hand side, click Show Attribute Mappings
5) Change the User Name value to the correct mapping for your LDAP server.
6) Once all attributes have been verified, click Finish
