This security control addresses certain U.S. government guidelines for limiting the number of concurrent sessions for each account to a configurable number of sessions.

  • You must have administrator privileges to make this change.
  • This change will have global impact on all user accounts.
  1. From UCMDB UI, go to Administration > Infrastructure Settings Manager.

  2. In the Categories pane, click Security Settings.
  3. Locate the Maximum number of sessions allowed per user parameter and change the value in the Value column.

Note The default value is 0, which means that there is no limit to the number of concurrent sessions an account can have while logging on from different computers.

The change takes effect on your next login to the UCMDB server.
