Micro Focus is announcing the release of

ProductMicro Focus SecureData Appliance
Version: 6.9.2
Languages: English

To download version 6.9.2 you must first select version 6.9 in the Software Licenses and Downloads Portal

This latest SecureData Appliance (SDA) release Version 6.9.2 is delivered as an upgrade script. Customers must first install a version of the SDA from an ISO image before upgrading to this version. See the release notes for instructions on how to upgrade from a specific previous version.

SDA 6.9.2 contains the following new features as requested by customers:

  • The page integrated encryption (PIE) front-end server (FES) request payload is now larger. This will allow more complex PIE transactions to succeed than in previous versions.
  • Logging messages now contain more diagnostic information, including the source Internet protocol address.
  • Only the admin user may install logging system plug-ins. This precludes other users from defeating said system.
  • The key server fully qualified domain name (FQDN) and the district name are now independent. This means one may retrieve a key from the domainone.com district while connected to the domaintwo.com network. This update includes server-side changes only: to benefit fully from this new feature, customers must also upgrade to a forthcoming newer version of the Simple API.

In addition, the following security vulnerability patches are included in Version 6.9.2:
