As the key technology used by Release Control, Adobe has announced the end of support of Flash by end of 2020. Customers can refer to

Micro Focus has no plan to refactor Release Control or replace Flash technology. From now on, Release Control will not be evolved functionally, and minimal maintenance will be provided as determined by Micro Focus.

Please note that all Release Control customers with active support contracts are eligible to use the native release control capability in Service Manager as a replacement solution. Starting from Service Manager 9.50, there is a comprehensive collection of built-in Release Control functionality that provides extended change management support without the need to integrate with Release Control. These products/versions follow the Product Support Lifecycle Policy – IT Operations Management and the timeline for end of Committed Support, end of Extended Support and end of Self-Help Support has been published on Product Support Lifecycle, based on the General Availability date for these product versions. These dates are based on the Micro Focus Business Support Agreement.

Please keep in mind: In accordance with the contractual terms, your Software should be on a supported available release. You can verify the support timeline for the specific version of the product you are using on Product Support Lifecycle. Please make sure that your Software is on a supported version throughout the period of your support contract. You can contact your Micro Focus Sales Representative or Micro Focus Business Partner if you need any additional help.

Whilst Micro Focus offers Extended Support, to minimize risks we recommend that all customers update to the latest version of these products.
