Question

UFT runs scripts on Windows 10 slower than on Windows 7.

Answer

UFT runs scripts on Windows 10 slower than on Windows 7.

Especially it happes on the normal mode.

On the fast mode, the performace is ok.

Because there are the performance degredation since win10 1607.

On Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Version 1607), the GDI32.dll was split into GDI32.dll, GDI32min.dll and GDI32Full.dll for refactoring.

Microsoft has explained that GDI32Full.dll is much more powerful than GDI32.dll, but more  powerful means more resource consumption.

That causes the performace issue on running UFT scripts.

** What is GDI32.DLL used for?

GDI = GDI and Graphics Device Interface
