Scriturra

As a result of customer requests, Micro Focus is pleased to announce the extension of support for Scrittura Version 4.4 until September 30, 2022. This announcement supersedes any prior announcement made by Hewlett Packard or Hewlett Packard Enterprise regarding support for Scrittura. This means that customers who are current with their existing Micro Focus support contracts will continue to receive maintenance support. The support extension covers a wide range of functional elements (detailed below) as well as a frequency of release schedule (included in this letter). The extended maintenance offer is offered on the following conditions:

• One version of Scrittura will be supported – Version 4.4.10. Customers not on this version will be required to upgrade their existing environment to Version 4.4.10. Limited professional services from Micro Focus will be available on a time and material basis to support the upgrade process.
• No enhancement requests to existing functionality will be accepted
• This letter will serve as official notice of the maintenance extension program. Micro Focus will not update existing contract terms.
• We will continue to provide hotfix support for security vulnerabilities identified by customers but will limit hotfix support to Version 4.4.10 only

Frequency of Updates: We will update security and critical fixes as deemed necessary.

Product Elements Not Supported

The following is a list of non-supported product elements:

• Scrittura versions other an 4.4.10
• Multiple middleware support (Jboss/Websphere). The latest version of 4.4 supports WebLogic we would advise all the customers to upgrade to this supported version.
• Exadata
• Sybase database
• Product enhancements
• Exchange connector
• Visio Plugin Upgrade
• IPS
• EnConnect
• Signature Applet - with Browser which doesn’t support Applets*

* Note: You can continue using the Signature Applet with the old browsers which supports Applets..
