Data Center Automation orchestrates centralized deployment, vulnerability risk management and IT compliance management processes across operating systems, container platforms, databases and middleware, providing end-to-end closed-loop workflows and content which enables IT departments to improve timeliness of actions, quality of delivery and efficiency. Data Center Automation 2018.11 contains the following features:
- Vendor platform integration for Red Hat Subscription Manager (RHSM) allows vulnerability patch scanning, patch remediation, and patch metadata import for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems which are connected to RHSM to receive updates.
- OS build plan workflows for Linux enable to orchestrate the Linux OS build process including the pre-install configuration of the environment, driver slipstreaming, media installation, post-install configuration, layering of software components, patching, and compliance remediation. It can parameterize the build process to enable a single standard build pattern to support personalization options.
