Unable import the monitors from one server to other server with same version

Question

While importing monitors form one servers to other an issue occurs.

Answer

1. Stop SiteScope service.
2. open CMD as administrator
3. Run the configuration tool: SiteScope\bin\config_tool.bat
4. import the configuration.
5. once it finish, start the SiteScope service.
 
The problem is related with the SiteScope service.
It needs to be stopped in order to import properly the configuration.
 
REMOVE BSM/APM integration:
 
• Stop SiteScope service
• Backup configuration
• Open persistency viewer. (D:\SiteScope\bin>PersistencyViewer.bat)
• Open com.mercury.sitescope.platform.configmanager.preferences.PreferencesConfig
• Open BACDefaultPreferences_
• Reset BAC Integration(keep just tge “UNIQUE_ID” property)
