We receive the following alert message occasionally on some URL monitors.Status: unknown error (12,019)
Answer
“Error 12019 is a Connection Error, sometimes related to the WinLnet. It is also related to a Microsoft issue about multiple connections. Remove the WinLnet option and test again. Follow the below steps:
1) Uncheck WinInet option and test the monitor
2) If unchecked the WinInet option doesn’t work, in master.config. we are going to do the following:
a. Stop SiteScope service
b. Go to SiteScope/groups/master.config
c. Backup the master.config file and save it outside of SiS folder
d. Open master.config and look for _urlRecognizeAndSkipBOM and set this parameter as “false”
e. Restart SiteScope
f. Test the monitor
