Summary
This article addresses the matter of how to add a new role in scrittura
Question
How do you add a new role in scrittura ?
Answer
You would need to add a new role to the file called 'roles' that you should have present in subdirectory top/config/ of the build directory.
Unless you have a custom security system , as some clients do, it is also necessary to create a new group in weblogic using the Weblogic Console (NOTE : Groups and Users are found under the Security Realms links) and add the affected users to it.
In the core product the ‘roles’ file in top/config/ maps the scrittura role name to the weblogic group name . Please check the Security Realms you have set up in weblogic alongside your top/config/roles file to confirm that this is the case in your system too and advise me if different ?
Once a new role has been added to the ‘roles’ file and the changes to groups and users made in weblogic you will need to do a full build , using client full.
