A potential security vulnerability has been identified with ArcSight Management Center, ArcSight Connector Appliance, ArcSight Logger, and ArcSight SmartConnectors. The vulnerability could be exploited locally to allow elevation of privilege.
Note: The following products are not vulnerable if installed as a non-root user: ArcSight Management Center, ArcSight Connector Appliance, ArcSight Logger, and ArcSight SmartConnectors.

- ArcSight Logger any version prior to 6.0P2
- ArcSight ESM any 6.x version prior to 6.5SP1P2
- ArcSight Connectors any version prior to 7.1.4
- ArcSight Management Center any version prior to 2.0P2 security update 071515
- ArcSight Express 4.0 and 4.0 Patch 1 versions
