VULNERABILITY SUMMARY
A potential security vulnerability has been discovered with the HP Support Solution Framework used from HP support web pages to identify products, find solutions and help with HP update downloads. The vulnerability could be exploited to allow unauthorized download of software on the customer machine, although user interaction is required to execute unauthorized software downloaded as a result of this vulnerability.

RESOLUTION
HP has provided the following update and mitigation information to resolve the vulnerability in HP Support Solution Framework.
- Update HP Support Solution Framework to version 11.51.0049 by visiting http://support.hp.com/ and clicking on "Identify Now".
- Remove older versions of HP Support Solution Framework via the Program management Control Panel.
