Asset Manager Web Client Deployment Issue

Summary

While executing generate-password.bat, the following error was thrown : "\HPE\Asset was unexpected at this time"

Error

"\HPE\Asset was unexpected at this time"

Cause

The issue was traced to this line of the generate-password.bat script (line 32)

 

set _SCRIPT_PATH=%~sdp0

This command _should_ return the short path (ie no spaces) yet due to the machine being in safe mode it was returning the long path
