Summary

Oracle archivelog backups hang after "starting backup of target database" message.

Error

No error message is showed. Oracle archivelog backup sessions simply hang after the  "starting backup of target database" message.

Cause

The omnirc OB2_SQLP_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT variable was set to -1.  Setting the variable to its default value fixed the problem.
