Product Structure & Pricing Change
As of Nov 1, 2016, the HP Boxcar product and pricing structure has been changed for simplification purposes. The new pricing model will streamline support contract creation and simplify support structure descriptions. Effective Mar 1, 2017, at the time of next support contract renewal, existing customer support contracts will be migrated to the new product structure.
For each license in the HP Boxcar old structure, the customer will be entitled to the corresponding HPE Data Security Boxcar new structure product in accordance with the table below:
Customer entitlement will remain the same after the migration to the new product structure. Answers to some of the possible questions you may have are listed below:
Question: Is the product being end-of-life (EOL)?
Question: Is there a price change?
Answer: In order to consolidate all the different SKU which had different price, the result SKU will have a new price.
Question: Do I need to migrate the affected SKU?
Answer: The affected SKU will be migrated at the time of renewal. Please, contact your relationship manager for details.
Question: The new SKU doesnt list out the type of CPU. How do I order for Itanium vs. Intel?
Answer: As a result of SKU simplification, the type of CPU is no longer required.

License Migration Terms
The Migrated Software is licensed in accordance with the agreement under which customer previously purchased the Original Software and the new additional license terms for the applicable Migrated Software as set forth at www.hpe.com/software/licensing ("Additional License Terms"). Customer’s acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the respective Migrated Software is Customer’s acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
