Notes and Limitations

Limitation: When trying to log in to NV Analytics when the NV Server is unavailable and cannot perform authentication, an incorrect error message may be displayed ("Username or password are incorrect").

Limitation: When analyzing HTTPS traffic, analysis results may not show all transactions.

Workaround: Clear the analysis cache in %ProgramData%. In Windows Explorer, open %ProgramData%\HP\NV\Analytics and delete all its contents.

Limitation: If the Use secure connection option was selected during NV Analytics installation, and if the certificate used by NV Analytics was not replaced after the installation with a Trusted certificate, the following error message is displayed when trying to log in to NV Analytics: "Cannot connect to the NV Analytics Server. Workaround: Replace the certificate with a Trusted one. For details about replacing the certificate, see the Network Virtualization for Mobile Security Guide.
