Execution of GUI and API Vusers as LoadRunner Scripts for BPM (BPM - UFT) - Catalog Id: 777

Description

HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) enables you to create complex tests that examine the full spectrum of your application's functionality and API.

After creating a test in UFT, you can add it to the list of scripts in the BSM End User Management administrations, as you would with any script created with VuGen, LoadRunner's script generation tool. You can then assign it scripts  and execute it in a BPM applications configuration.

BPM can send UFT script results into an APM using BPM as the agent controlling collecting, and reporting the data.

This integration involves the following components:
  •  BPM engine
  •  QTP  Proxy
  •  MDRV process running QTP
The BPM engine invokes a QTP proxy by launching the process QTPProxy.exe. It asks the QTP proxy to run a QTP/UFT task. The QTP proxy launches MDRV.exe which runs the QTP/UFT task in MDRV mode.
