Description

This integration is delivered as part of an HPE Cloud Service Automation (HPE CSA) Capsule and demonstrates how to integrate CSA with Microsoft Azure (http://windowsazure.com).

This solution consists of HPE Operations Orchestration (HPE OO) flows that trigger predefined subscriber actions to deploy, start, stop, restart, and un-deploy servers to a public Microsoft Azure cloud.

This integration supports the following Azure services:

  • Microsoft Azure Compute- This service provides hosted service management capabilities to launch, restart, scale, and manage virtual machines.
  • Microsoft Azure Database- This provides relational database as a service, that makes tier-1 capabilities easily accessible and allows working with any preferred development environment.
  • Microsoft Azure Load Balancer- Load Balancer distributes incoming traffic among healthy service instances in cloud services or virtual machines delivering high network performance and enabling quick availability to the applications.
  • Microsoft Azure Storage Container- This service provides flexibility and hyper-scalability in storing and retrieving large amounts of data irrespective of the data type (structured/ unstructured data).
