HP LoadRunner Applications (VuGen, Controller, and Analysis) work together with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), HP's Web-based test management tool. HP ALM provides an efficient method for storing and retrieving VuGen Scripts, Controller scenarios, and Analysis Results.
This integration can work with both ALM and Performance Center (PC) projects.
To access an ALM project, you must open the required LoadRunner application and connect to the Web server on which HP Application Lifecycle Management is installed.
- VuGen can be connected to an HP ALM project, so that scripts can be saved to and retrieved from HP ALM instead of the local disk. To view a script from ALM, you need to open it from the Test Plan module.
- Controller can be connected to an HP ALM project, so that scenarios can be saved to and retrieved from HP ALM instead of the local disk. To perform a run from ALM, just add the scenario to an ALM test set and run it from there.
- Analysis can be connected to an HP ALM project so that you can open Analysis raw results or an Analysis session, and changes can be saved to HP ALM instead of the local disk. To view the LoadRunner Analysis Report from ALM, run it from the Test Lab module.
