Description

This integration uses HPE Connect-It and mapping scenarios, along with Web services (Node, Interface, IPAddress), to populate the NNMi host device detail into Asset Manager. Using this integration between HPE Asset Manager (AM) and HPE Network Node Manager i-suite software (NNMi), the AM portfolio can be automatically populated with device information from the NNMi database.

 

 

The Discovered Hosts Inventory integration provides the following benefits:
  • Reduces network traffic to the managed devices. NNMi discovers the devices, and Asset Manager synchronizes with the NNMi topology.
  • Provides the complete network inventory to Asset Manager. This inventory is kept current through NNMi spiral discovery.
  • Simplifies network management configuration. Network discovery configuration is stored in NNMi only.
