Description
This integration enables the APM user to view incidents that currently open for a specified Configuration Item (CI) and any child CIs. This integration is part of the BSM/APM Service Health 360° View.
The APM Service Health 360° View provides information about a selected CI across performance, availability, planned changes, recent changes and incidents. This integration populates the planned changes and incidents information part of that view.
Information on planned changes and incidents that are open in Service Manager (SM) is collected from SM via the UCMDB (using a federation adapter) and displayed in the APM 360° View. Data can be displayed for the selected CI alone or can include the child CIs which have an impact relationship with the selected CI. This planned changes and incidents information can assist the user in isolating a problem and resolving it effectively. For example, looking at incidents that are open on an affected CI can help pinpoint the cause of a problem being diagnosed.
