Description

This integration does the following:
  1. Event forwarding from OM to OMi and bidirectional synchronization of forwarded events.
  2. Starts automatic actions, operator actions and tools from the OMi console and delegates the action request to OM.
  3. Retrieves node and service objects from OM and imports these CIs into OMi's UCMDB.

 

The OM server and the OMi server require a trust relationship either based on an OM HTTPS Agent or on certificate exchange.  A message forwarding policy is installed in the OM management server, which forwards the OM events to OMi.
