Summary
Configuration on IE and Chrome on Wesites Data Settings, Temporary Iternet Files configuration setting to help refresh properly PPM's web pages.
Question
Problem
Browser caching is causing unpredictable results in several cases not showing updated data.
Cause
Internet settings on temporary files are not setup to refresh automatically.
When client uses Chrome, this browser does not come with its own parameters for this settings, therefore it will be reading from Internet Explorer configuration trying to apply (Chrome will launch IE configuration window to modify).
Answer
Fix
- Launch Internet Explorer
- Go to Internet Options menu
- Select General Tab
- Select Automatically option
- Save the changes
- Close all the browsers sessions/tabs opened.
