Fails to open 2 different OMi environments using the same Internet Browser

Summary

Working with two OMi environments (Environment A & Environment B) from client machine, using the same Internet Browser fails - after attempt to open connection to Environment B, the connection which is already established with Environment A gets lost.

Error

When the user works with more than one User Interfaces (UIs) of different Operations Manager i (OMi) environments (e.g. Environment A & Environment B) using the same Internet Browser and after attempt to open connection to Environment B, the connection which is already established with Environment A gets lost and results in following error message:

Failed to get a response from the server. Check your network connection.

Cause

The reason behind the issue is the following limitation:

Only one session and only one cookies per opened OMi instance on Internet Browser is allowed. There is the same limitation in all OMi versions.

Fix

The user should use different Internet Browsers e.g. Internet Explorer and Firefox to open UIs of different OMi environments, instead using the same Internet Browser for both OMi UIs.
