Summary

The error appears during a test, which contains TruClient Firefox scripts, which runs in Performance Center host 11.52 patch 1 when IP spoofing is enabled. IP spoofing for TruClient Ajax Firefox and TruClient Ajax - Mobile is supported from LoadRunner & Performance Center 12.00 onwards.

Error

The following error messages appears during a test, which contains TruClient Firefox scripts, is run in Performance Center host 11.52 patch 1.

Abnormal termination, caused by mdrv process termination."
"Error: Exception was raised when calling per-process-init function in extension two_way_comm.dll: System Exceptions: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"

Cause

The problem is caused by IP spoofing and does not reproduce if IP spoofing is disabled during the test.

IP spoofing for TruClient protocols:  TruClient Ajax Firefox and TruClient Ajax - Mobile  is supported from LoadRunner & Performance Center 12.00 onwards.

Fix

To overcome the issue:

  1. Disable IP spoofing during a test in which TruClient Firefox script is used or
  2. Upgrade to ALM Performance Center 12.01 or later version.
