TruClient Firefox fails in load mode

Summary

Description of the requirement of use the correct resolution used for the TC recording, Interactive mode and load mode.

Error

Error -205177: ** 4: Click on ** javascript_link ** failed - target object was not found.

Cause

Screen resolution for the snapshots is different and out of boundaries in load mode. The coordinates and actions need to match in the replay.

Fix

In order to overcome the current behavior follow the next steps.

  1. Go to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen Resolution.
  2. Save the screen resolution values of the machine where LoadRunner/Vugen is installed.
  3. Open the TruClient script in Vugen.
  4. Go to Run Time Settings-->Other-->Non-Interactive Window Size.
  5. Enable the option "Apply window size by user" and type the Width and Height values, the same that you  have for the Windows Operative system Screen resolution.
  6. Save the changes.
  7. Replay the script in Load Mode.
