Korn Shell
Question
Is possible to use KSH on by shell Jobs?
Answer
Starting from CP13 (running on UCMDB 10.10) we have an option to perform discovery command in shell different from the default for discovery user on xNIX machines with “* by Shell Jobs”.
The feature called “Privilege Mode” and mentioned in Supported Content document for CP13 on page 48.
The attached screen shot is showing how to run discovery command in /usr/bin/ksh when default is /bin/bash. In this case before each discovery command discovery job will run "ksh" command -> execute discovery command itself -> execute "exit" command to return to default shell.
