Summary

Effective March 1, 2014, HP had decided to align the placement and optimization roadmap with the HP Virtualization Performance Viewer (vPV) roadmap instead of HP Service Health Optimizer (SHO) product. At the time of the next support contract renewal, existing support contracts for HP SHO will be migrated to the new HP vPV product structure. Details of this migration are as follows

Product & Pricing Change

  Effective March 1, 2014, HP had decided to align the placement and optimization roadmap with the HP Virtualization Performance Viewer (vPV) roadmap instead of HP Service Health Optimizer (SHO) product. At the time of the next support contract renewal, existing support contracts for HP SHO will be migrated to the new HP vPV product structure. Details of this migration are as follows:
  1. For each unit of SHO (TJ754AAE) licensed by OM Node, customer will be entitled to one unit of vPV (A8A90AAE) which includes 50 vPV Premium Operating System Instance license in each unit.
  2. For each unit of SHO (TJ755AAE) licensed by OM Node, customer will be entitled to one unit of vPV (A8A91AAE) which includes 50 vPV Premium Operating System Instance license in each unit.
  3. For each unit of SHO (TD597AAE) licensed by Node, customer will be entitled to one unit of vPV (A8A92AAE) which includes 50 vPV Premium Operating System Instance license in each unit.
  4. For each unit of SHO (TD598AAE) licensed by Node, customer will be entitled to five units of vPV (A8A91AAE) which includes 50 vPV Premium Operating System Instance license in each unit.
  5. For each unit of HP Service Intelligent Suite licensed by Node (TD854AAE),customer will be entitled to one unit each of
    1. Service Health Reporter 50 OM Nodes (TJ759AAE)
    2. Service Health Analyzer 50 SHO Nodes (TJ756AAE)
    3. vPV Premium 50 Operating System Instances (A8A93AAE)

License Migration Terms

  The new HP Virtualization Performance Viewer ("Migrated Software") is licensed in accordance with the agreement under which customer previously purchased SHO or the HP Service Intelligence Suite and the new additional license terms for the applicable Migrated Software as set forth at Software Licensing ("Additional License Terms"). Customer’s acceptance of the Support Renewal Quotation for the respective Migrated Software is Customer’s acceptance of the Terms herein, including the Additional License Terms.
