Question

Is there an option to remove the Change Password option from Windows Client, Web Client index.do and ess.do?

Answer

At the Help article "operator password", it is written:
Users can also change their own passwords, unless the System Administrator denies operators password modification privileges. If users don't want to see the Password Change on the screen, they can remove the option from
the menus by the following ways:

For Windows Client and Web Client index.do
1.open the operator record of the user, e.g.Andrea.Young
2.go to Startup tab, find the Parameter Values, for user Andrea.Young, it is PM GEN
3.go to Tailoring=>Tailoring Tools=>Menus, then search for PM GEN
4.change the Condition of Password Change from true to false.

For Web Client ess.do
1.open the operator record of the user, e.g.Aaron Caffrey
2.go to Self Service tab, find the Self Service Menu, for user Aaron Caffrey, it is ESSSM
3.go to Tailoring=>Tailoring Tools=>Menus, then search for ESSSM
4.change the Condition of Password Change from true to false.

But actually, SM  does not provide a way to deny operators password modification privileges. Defect QCCR1E105865 was created to correct the documentation.
