"The specified type <x> doesn't exist" when clicking default requirement related KPIs in Project Planning and Tracking in project customization

Summary

This error occurs when certain requirement types that are referenced in the filters used in the KPIs in project planning and tracking are deleted. It can be resolved by recreating the filters with correct conditions.

Error

"The specified type <x> doesn't exist" occurs when clicking requirement related KPIs in Project Planning and Tracking under Tools->Customize.

Cause

The KPIs use filters to select target requirements and one or more of requirement types in the filter conditions are deleted from Tools->Customize->Requirement Types.

Fix

Recreate the filters used under both General and KPI Analysis tabs for the problematic KPI to exclude using the deleted requirement type.
