A new “Mobile Protocols” licensing bundle is available in LoadRunner 12.00. It includes Mobile Applications, Mobile TruClient, SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) protocols.

What needs to be done to enable installation of “Mobile Protocols” bundle?

Answer

A patch is provided which will enable “Mobile Protocols” bundle licenses to be installed in LoadRunner 12.00. 

It will add new "Mobile" bundle including Mobile Applications, Mobile TruClient  and SMP protocols.

To install “Mobile Protocols” bundle licenses: 

  1. Please download the patch which is relevant for LoadRunner version 12.00 only.
  2. Extract and run LR_03286.exe
  3. Follow the steps in the HP LoadRunner Setup 
  4. After the patch installation has completed successfully, install the  “Mobile Protocols” bundle licenses following the standard procedure described in the LoadRunner 12 Installation Guide.  

Please note that the patch will add or modify the following files:

  1. <LoadRunner installation folder>\config\pd\lr.pd
  2. <LoadRunner installation folder>\hotfixreadmes\lr_03286.txt
