When working with HP Synchronizer for ALM or OTA API or any plug-in based on OTA API , workflow scripts are not triggered.

Answer

This is a known limitation of ALM. Workflow scripts are triggered only via GUI ( User interface ) events.

Workflow is not triggered when actions are performed using OTA API or HP Synchronizer or any other plug-in based on OTA API or external tools.
