Question
User logins to Service Manager fail and in the Service Manager sm.log the following error is reported: Message from LDAP server: "Can't contact LDAP server (format.cque,calc.queries.2.select)"
Answer
The following parameter will resolve the problem:
1. Navigate to the Service Manager /RUN directory
2. Edit the sm.ini
3. Add the following parameter:
ldapdisconnect:1
4. Save the sm.ini
5. Client connections will honor during login. A restart of the Service Manager Server is not required.
