Summary

Web (HTTP/HTML) protocol script with enabled SPDY protocol recording may fail during multi-iteration replay in LoadRunner 12. A fix is provided to overcome the issue .

Error

A LoadRunner 12 Web (HTTP/HTML) protocol script with enabled SPDY protocol recording in:

Recording Options > Network > Port Mapping > Options > TLS NPN

may fail during multi-iteration while being replayed in VuGen or during a load test on a Load Generator.

Cause

An issue in the "LrwNetSocket.dll" DLL is the cause of the replay failure.

Fix

Please apply the following fix on top of LoadRunner 12:

  1. Close all LoadRunner components,
  2. Download the attached LrwNetSocket.zip
  3. Go to <LoadRunner installation folder>\bin 
  4. Backup the original file LrwNetSocket.dll
  5. Extract the DLL from LrwNetSocket.zip and 
  6. Copy it in <LoadRunner installation folder>\bin.
