How to create server certificate for Jetty using Certificate Authority (CA)?

Answer

This procedure describes configuring secure access to ALM application server (jetty) using Certificate Authority (CA) signed certificate. It is a best practice not to use self-signed certificates in production and instead use certificates signed by trusted Certificate Authorities.

NOTE: The same process applies for renewing the server certificate upon expiry. The renewed certificate must be requested and obtained from the CA before applying the above procedures for the renewal (as per Step 1 -> option 1 from the above documents).
