After upgrade to OA 11.X catalog file is missing

Error

%OvDataDir%Status.scope logs the following error:
scopeNT 11.11.025 COLLECTOR BEGIN.
ERROR: Missing catalog file C:\Program Files\HP OpenView\msg\C\scopemsgs
scopeNT terminated abnormally.
In oapatch.log and the oainstall.logs there is no mention of this catalog file not being copied in or deleted.

Fix

The workaround for this scenario is to simply copy “scopemsgs” file from another server with the same characteristics (Windows Version, architecture, Agent version, etc)
