To change the UCMDB database user password, do the following:
On Windows:
1. Stop the HP uCMDB Service
2. Change the database user password on the database
3. Run: Start > All Programs > HP UCMDB > Start HP Universal CMDB Configuration Wizard.
4. Select the ‘Connect to an existing schema’ option and follow the prompts and provide the new information
5. Start the HP uCMDB service
On Linux :
make sure have xwindows session
1. Stop the HP uCMDB Service [/opt/hp/UCMDB/UCMDBServer/bin/server.sh stop]
2. Change the database user password on the database
3. Run: /opt/hp/UCMDB/UCMDBServer/bin/configure.sh
4. Select the ‘Connect to an existing schema’ option and follow the prompts and provide the new information
5. Start the HP uCMDB service [/opt/hp/UCMDB/UCMDBServer/bin/server.sh start]
