How to setup, check and use km search for Chinese, Japanese, Thai or other languages?

Answer

1. Activate Chinese language by following instruction in sm Help Server(helpserver_schemastub.xml.txt attached FYR linktext), restart sm server and search engine, do full reindex.
2. Go to Knowledge Management -> Contribute Knowledge -> Document Type: Error Message/Cause -> Locale: Chinese; Input Chinese strings -> Click "Publish Internal" -> Run KMUpdate to index the doc
3. Use solar admin analyzer to check. e.g.

http://localhost:9090/KMCores/Knowledge_Library/admin/anlaysis.jsp

Field: name; docbody_zh
Field value(Index): <The string in the doc>; Check the option "verbose output" and "highlight matches"
Field value(Query): <The query string>; Check the option "verbose output"

Click button "Analyze" to check the output.

4. Go to Search Knowlegebase -> Advanced -> Keep "Knowledge Library" checked, uncheck other Library if any; In Advanced Search, choose "Chinese" in "Query Language" -> Click "Search"
   -> Result: All the km doc in Knowledge Library is listed.
5. Do the same search, but using Chinese query string.
