Question
Customer tried to use Terminal Emulator protocol to record the AS400 5250 scripts, however, user found that the Workstation ID and the Subsystem was different as expected. But tried the same in IBM Personal Communication and it works. The issue is that by default, VuGen(powerterm) is assigning a machine which is not the intended one but user can do the same thru IBM Pers Comm.
Answer
The problem was the special character $ in workstation ID which was not support in powerterm. It was fixed by using another Workstation ID without special character.
