Question

I am experiencing an issue with the seat locking code. I created a new VM  with window XP, but unfortunately the license is not recognized because of the seat locking code.

Answer

QTP requires a concurrent  license when working in a VM environment.  QTP will not work in these environments with a seat license. This is by design.
If you have seat licenses, you will need to purchase concurrent licenses or have the seat licenses converted to concurrent licenses. To do this you will need to contact the License Center.
