Using Windows Authentication to Access the Microsoft SQL Server Database

Unless configured otherwise, Universal CMDB uses Microsoft SQL Server authentication to access the Microsoft SQL Server databases. However, Windows authentication can also be used.

This section describes how to enable Universal CMDB to use Windows authentication to access Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Note: The authentication procedure described in this section is relevant for Configuration Manager as well as Universal CMDB.
